“Resurrection Stories”

The Wednesday night Bible study shifts on April 10 to a four-week study of the resurrection stories. Jesus appeared to the disciples in a variety of settings and each of the Gospels paints a little different picture of Jesus in a post-resurrection setting. You are invited to come and experience these stories with fresh eyes and ears.

This week we welcome Dr. Kristin Wendland, assistant professor of Religion at Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. Dr. Wendland launches us into a three-week study of “Wisdom Literature in the Hebrew Bible” to better understand why these books are included in our scriptures and how they continue to speak to us today.

Dawn is the Director for Faith Development at Augsburg Fortress, and she is coming to talk to us about how our children learn and embrace faith. Dawn writes curriculum and recently published a new children’s book Alphabet Adventure. Join us to meet and learn from one of the church’s great minds in youth ministry.
