The 8:30 a.m. Sunday worship is an intimate “First Light” service with Holy Communion. It features hymns and the Word, musically enriched by vocal soloists. Adult Forum
Anchored in the theme, “The Welcome of a Steadfast God: Inviting All the Questions,” our learning will focus on the intersections of faith and daily life.
Worship
The 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship has the largest attendance. During the program year (September–May), this is a choir-led festive service with Holy Communion. It is a communion service rooted in Lutheran liturgy and hymns. One of the pastors preaches, and another presides for worship. Sunday Community Meal
We gather each Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. worship in the Great Room to share a meal. The menu changes week to week. On holiday weekends, coffee, cookies, and lemonade are served instead of a meal.
Align Central
The Align Central Team helps communicate our advocacy invitations to the rest of the congregation. Folks with lived experience of homelessness know what’s best for them and their experience, so the Central Align team is an ally to them in systems change. Commemorative Service for the 25th Anniversary of 9/11
Marking the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we will gather in reflection, hope, and prayer. This solemn service of remembrance will weave together scripture and sacred music, including René Clausen’s Memorial.

The Central Lutheran Church Bell Choir performs a variety of handbell music throughout the program year.

Wednesday evening Bible Study resumes for the fall! We will look at Paul's letter to the Philippians and it's contemplative movement.
Central Choir Rehearsal
The Central Choir sings at the 10:30 a.m. worship service September – May and for all major church festivals.
