The 8:30 a.m. Sunday worship is an intimate “First Light” service with Holy Communion. It features hymns and the Word, musically enriched by vocal soloists. It is a full communion service led by the Casavant organ or the piano. One of the pastors preaches, and another presides for worship and communion. On Ascension Day, we celebrate Jesus’ return to heaven. This is traditionally the 40th day of Easter, a Thursday, though we are observing it the following Sunday. The Central Choir will be joined by a jazz trio, on this, the last Sunday of the choir season.

Ash Wednesday Worship

On Ash Wednesday, you are invited to worship at noon, followed by a soup and salad luncheon, or at 7 p.m., where the Central Choir will join us. Both services include imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.
