The 8:30 a.m. Sunday worship is an intimate “First Light” service with Holy Communion. It features hymns and the Word, musically enriched by vocal soloists. The 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship has the largest attendance. During the program year (September–May), this is a choir-led festive service with Holy Communion. It is a communion service rooted in Lutheran liturgy and hymns. One of the pastors preaches, and another presides for worship. Sunday Community Meal
We gather each Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. worship in the Great Room to share a meal. The menu changes week to week. On holiday weekends, coffee, cookies, and lemonade are served instead of a meal.
Summer on the Plaza
Join us to hear the bells of Central’s Carillon tower, played by artists from around the country. Plus, some of our favorite food trucks and time with community out on the North Plaza.

This nurse-led drop-in center is focused on meeting people where they are to respond to any expressed felt need of those who visit, especially as it pertains to health.
Free Store Shopping (M)
The Free Store is open Mondays, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., and Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Worship (M)
Monday’s worship service is grounded in community and followed by a community meal. Each week of the month, worship has its own flavor, from testimony times and healing services to confession and forgiveness and Holy Communion. Music is led by members of the worshipping community. Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is an elected team of four members: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. The Executive Committee meets in advance of the council to plan the meeting agenda and gather the work of other committees, teams, and task forces that will need council affirmation and support. Come along to visit the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, a 1,200-acre public garden best known for its beautiful display gardens and nationally recognized tree collections.
