Sanctuary Renewal Project Update (pt. II)

The sacristy renovation is complete, and the sacristans have started moving back into the sacristy. Once the sacristy is settled, we will offer you the chance to look at the new space.

The ADA ramp is currently under construction.

The ADA ramp is nearing completion and, as of the writing of this update, the ramp may be ready for limited use this weekend. There is a handrail to be installed on the top of the walls, which is still being fabricated. Why the wall, you ask? One of the problems we experienced when we rented a ramp was the noise from footfalls when using the ramp. With softer, non-slip flooring and the wall, we are hopeful that it will help limit the sound of the ramp when in use. As with all visual changes, give it some time to be fully completed and for the décor options to be added. The main goal is for the chancel area to be fully accessible, which the ramp successfully accomplishes.

The chancel tile is being installed and will hopefully be completed next week. We will continue to use the side chapel altar until the renovated altar is completed. The renovated altar is being fabricated, so it will be completed in 6-8 weeks.

If you have any questions, please check in with Pastor Peter over the weekend or send him an email.

The sacristy remodel is complete.
