Sara Masters has worked at central since October of 2015. Currently, she is the Director of Operations and Finance, though she has served in other positions at Central.
Sara received both her BA in Mathematics and her MA in Leadership from Augsburg University. Prior to working at Central, she worked in communications at Lutheran Brotherhood/Thrivent, Colonial Church of Edina, RSM McGladrey, Minneapolis Area Synod, ELCA, and at Gustavus Adolphus College as the assistant director of church relations.
Originally from South Minneapolis, Sara currently resides in Shakopee with her family. She and her husband, Jason, have one daughter, Maren, who is attending college at Gustavus. In her free time, she likes to play golf, knit, read, and travel.
If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you choose and why?
I would certainly live on one of the Hawaiian islands. I have traveled there many times, and I love the climate, the beauty, and the ocean.
