I grew up in the Midwest and have lived here my entire life! I was born in Illinois, where I lived in my younger years, then my family relocated to Minnesota, where I spent most of my school years. Before starting high school, I moved back to Illinois. After high school, I attended college in Wisconsin. I currently reside in Apple Valley, MN.
I loved my time living in Madison, Wisconsin for 5 years and try to go back whenever I can. I graduated in 2000 with a degree in Natural Resources. I went on to get my master’s degree at Concordia University in St. Paul in Organizational Management/Human Resources.
After working a few years in corporate America, I decided to switch gears and stay home with my kids. During that time, a new opportunity presented itself, and I became a certified personal trainer. It’s been my career for the past 12 years and is my favorite career thus far. Fun Fact: I have been voted the best Personal Trainer in Apple Valley twice!
My time at Central has flown by! I love being a part of the Central community. For my job, I get to work with the kids and their families and watching them grow up in the Central community is my favorite part. The little ones I had in Sunday school years ago are now in college!
I grew up as an only child, which can be a bit lonely at times. I knew I would have more than one child when it was my time to become a mom. My TWO kids are growing up way too fast. Olivia wrapped up her first year of college at Luther in Decorah, IA and my son Alex will be graduating high school in 2027. My husband of 21 years, Eric, and I aren’t sure where the time went. In the next few years, it will just be us, our dog, Stanley, and our ball python, Reggie.
