I grew up in the Midwest and have lived here my entire life! I was born in Illinois where I lived in my younger years, then my family relocated to Minnesota where I spent most of my school years. Before starting high school, I moved back to Illinois. After high school I attended college in Wisconsin. I currently reside in Apple Valley, MN.
I loved my time living in Madison, Wisconsin for 5 years and try to go back whenever I can. I graduated in 2000 with a degree in Natural Resources. I went on to get my master’s degree at Concordia University in St. Paul in Organizational Management/Human Resources. Go Badgers!
After working a few years in corporate America I decided to switch gears and stay home with my kids. During that time a new opportunity presented itself and I became a certified personal trainer. It’s been my career for the past ten years and is my favorite career thus far. Fun Fact: I have been voted the best Personal Trainer in Apple Valley twice!
My time at Central has flown by! It will be 2 years this September 2024. I love being a part of the Central community. The staff is so wonderful and welcoming. For my job, I get to work with the kids and their families and watching them grow up in the Central community is my favorite part. The little ones I had in Sunday school years ago are now in college!
I grew up as an only child, which can be a bit lonely at times. I knew I would have more than one child when it was my time to become a mom. My TWO kids are teenagers who are growing up way too fast. College is very near in our future! My husband of 19 years, Eric and I aren’t sure where the time went. In the next few years, it will just be us, our two dogs and 20-year-old cat.
