Emmie Brenke grew up in both Cottage Grove and Wayzata, Minnesota. She has been a lifelong member of Central Lutheran and has been involved in the youth programs, including Sunday School, Confirmation, youth choir, and Vacation Bible School, for her entire life. She is currently a student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, studying for a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in music. She will then go on to graduate with a master’s in Elementary Education.
Emmie has enjoyed working at the nursery in Central because she loves to see the creativity and individuality all the kids have. She enjoys watching how they play with one another and discover new things! In her free time, Emmie can be found being active, whether going for a swim at the lake or working out. She also enjoys reading and making music. Emmie feels so lucky to help children have the same fun and special experience she had while growing up at Central Lutheran.
