I was born in Bloomington, IL but grew up the majority of my life in Milwaukee, WI. I’ve also lived in Peoria, IL, Indianapolis, IN, and Springfield, IL. Out of my mother’s five children, I am the fourth and the oldest twin.
I didn’t graduate high school, but I did receive my GED. Then I went to college to be a medical assistant. I have received certificates in phlebotomy, injection molding, forklift operating, CNA, childcare, quality inspection, and welding. I attempted to go back to school for IT, but I found that it was more challenging than I expected.
My employment background varies. I started off as a dietary worker in a nursing home and then did CNA and medication Tech for about eight years. Then I switched careers and went into factory work, working as an injection molder and other various positions. Then I shifted again and went to work in childcare for Milwaukee Public Schools. For the last three years I’ve been working in security.
I’ve been working at Central since October of 2023. Working around different people and doing different jobs well prepared me for working here at Central. I love working around different people with different backgrounds here at Central. My favorite part of working here is helping out others when needed.
I have three children; two boys ages 26 and 25 and one daughter age 23. I’m a grandmother of two; one granddaughter and one grandson. I like to travel, camp, sit in quiet, explore, and eat for fun. I haven’t traveled overseas yet, but I plan to in the near future! Also, I am a loyal Packer fan. Go Pack, go!
