Worship

The 8:30 a.m. Sunday worship is an intimate “First Light” service with Holy Communion. It features hymns and the Word, musically enriched by vocal soloists. It is a full communion service led by the Casavant organ or the piano. One of the pastors preaches, and another presides for worship and communion. A member of the congregation serves as the assistant minister. The service is based on Lutheran liturgy (service order) and hymn singing. The service lasts about 50 minutes, and generally, 60-70 people attend. Following worship, there is coffee and cookie fellowship time in the Great Room. During the program year (September–May), educational opportunities follow.
