Presiding Bishop Installation

The Rev. Yehiel Curry was elected as the next presiding bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) at the ELCA Churchwide Assembly on July 30. He will begin this role on October 1, and be installed at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis on October 4. This event will be open to the public and tickets are not required. Due to the timing of this event, we will not have the usual Saturday evening worship service at 5 p.m., nor the Sunday Meal (cookies and beverages will be served instead). Please join the ELCA and Central as we celebrate this joyful occasion!
