Mezzo Sasha Cooke compares Elgar’s Sea Pictures to entering a painting by J.M.W. Turner: “They are very dark and murky, but beautiful with radiant, shimmering light.” They’ll ease you into Dvořák’s nature-infused Symphony No. 8. Lake Elmo Inn boxed lunches will be served at Central following the performance.
