Global Mission Weekend

The Global Mission Team is working on a wonderful weekend with our global partners, Lutheran Health Care Bangladesh (LHCB). On October 18-20, we will welcome Granar Marek and Rebecca Quiah, representatives of the LHCB Board of Directors and the Rev. Franklin Ishida and the Rev. Dr. Chandran Martin from the ELCA’s office for Asia and the Pacific.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Central’s partnership with LHCB. We will celebrate our long-term partnership and cast a vision for the future for what our continued relationship may look like in the years to come.

During LHCB’s visit to the Twin Cities, our guests will gather with the Global Mission Team, enjoy a reunion dinner with the group from Central who traveled to Bangladesh in 2018, and visit other ministry partners and potential partners. Dr. Marek and Mrs. Quiah will be with us throughout Global Mission Weekend for worship. In lieu of the Global Ministry Fair, we encourage everyone to attend a learning opportunity with our guests at the Adult Forum and Empowering Conversations.
