Empowering Conversations

Another place in which adult formation is nurtured by story is through the monthly Empowering Conversations.

Empowering Conversations occurs on the third Sunday of the month, following the community meal. A guest speaker is invited to come share stories about our community and the things that we and our neighbors are facing. Generally, those gathered are invited into discussion on the topic.

After lunch on Sunday, 11/16, we will welcome David Hewitt, Director of Housing Stability for Hennepin County, as our guest at Empowering Conversations. Mr. Hewitt has become an expert on finding paths to housing stability by first listening to the stories of those experiencing instability. Plan to grab some lunch and then stay for some enlightening conversation.
