Empowering Conversations

Another place in which adult formation is nurtured by story is through the monthly Empowering Conversations.

Empowering Conversations occurs on the third Sunday of the month, following the community meal. A guest speaker is invited to come share stories about our community and the things that we and our neighbors are facing. Generally, those gathered are invited into discussion on the topic.

In April’s Empowering Conversations, the Rev. Jim Antal, author of Climate Church, Climate World, will join us via Zoom for a conversation about our call as churches to tend to the needs of climate change. Come and hear his prophetic voice on what we need to be doing now to protect our planet in the future.
