Adult Forum

The Sunday Adult Forums will begin on September 14 at 9:30 a.m. The forums will be grounded in conversations that align with Stories of Home. Throughout the year, Central’s pastors and guest speakers will lead us in conversations about the essential spirit and nature of home in our churches and our culture. What does home mean to you? How are the images and realities of home captured in our theology, our worship, and our lives of faith?

“Lutherans and Home”
As we celebrate Reformation weekend, our adult learning time will focus on the ways in which Martin Luther returned faith formation to people’s homes. His introduction of the Small Catechism shifted our understanding of to whom and for whom scriptures were written and shared. One could say that the reason we have children’s Bibles today goes all the way back to 1519.
