Central Creates Art Show

God is not the only creator we know. That almost sounds blasphemous! Our faith tells us that God created humankind in God’s own image. That doesn’t only mean that our outer appearances look like God, but that we bear the same characteristics as God, but in smaller, more human-sized ways. We are called to be co-creators of the kingdom of heaven on Earth with God. One of our best tools as humans is art.

Visual arts have long been a mainstay in expressing our faith. This is the heart of the art show in the south entry hall and Fireside this fall. We have invited you to loan us your beautiful creations so they can be shared with the wider Central community. You will see art made by the person sitting next to you in the pew or at the community meal, many different media forms and styles and subjects of the art we create.
