DESCRIPTION:Monday’s worship service is grounded in community and followed by a community meal. Each week of the month\, worship has its own flavor\, from testimony times and healing services to confession and forgiveness and Holy Communion. Music is led by members of the worshipping community. The Pastor for Community generally leads worship\, though some weeks there is a guest preacher or one of the other pastors may preach and lead worship. This service is held in the Great Room and has 25-40 participants who gather within the Monday community ministry flow. This service is not livestreamed. \n

The choir has appeared at the Central Library in downtown Minneapolis\, the Mall of America as part of its Holiday Music Festival\, the annual Homeless Memorial March and Service and at various churches and mosques. In April 2016\, StreetSong MN performed at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday evening worship is a contemplative communion service. Whichever pastor is preaching on Sunday\, preaches and leads worship on Saturday night. The service is guided by a contemplative sense: a slower pace\, room for silence\, and a simpler service order. The altar is on the main floor\, and much of the music is led from a piano within the gathered community. The service is generally about 45 minutes long\, with 40-50 people regularly gathering. DESCRIPTION:The 8:30 a.m. Sunday worship is an intimate “First Light” service with Holy Communion. It features hymns and the Word\, musically enriched by vocal soloists. It is a full communion service led by the Casavant organ or the piano. One of the pastors preaches\, and another presides for worship and communion. A member of the congregation serves as the assistant minister. The service is based on Lutheran liturgy (service order) and hymn singing. DESCRIPTION:The 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship has the largest attendance. During the program year (September–May)\, this is a choir-led festive service with Holy Communion. It is a communion service rooted in Lutheran liturgy and hymns. One of the pastors preaches\, and another presides for worship. Congregation members serve as the assisting minister and the lesson readers. A time for children is offered during the service. The service lasts 65 minutes\, and generally 250-300 people attend. Following worship\, there is a community meal served for all. \nIn the summer\, there are scheduled food trucks on some weekends. DESCRIPTION:The Augsburg Central Health Commons\nAnyone looking for diapers\, hygiene supplies\, one-on-one nurse consultations\, or just to have a place to sit and rest are welcome. Volunteers often spend time visiting with members of the community\, distributing donations\, and setting up the space. Faculty\, students\, and volunteers also provide basic care such as blood pressure checks or basic foot care. The hope is that the moments here can allow guests to address their health needs as they deem necessary\, and the work can lead to addressing health inequities and foster healing.
