DESCRIPTION:The 8:30 a.m. Sunday worship is an intimate “First Light” service with Holy Communion. It features hymns and the Word\, musically enriched by vocal soloists. It is a full communion service led by the Casavant organ or the piano. One of the pastors preaches\, and another presides for worship and communion. A member of the congregation serves as the assistant minister. The service is based on Lutheran liturgy (service order) and hymn singing. The service lasts about 50 minutes\, and generally\, 60-70 people attend. Following worship\, there is coffee and cookie fellowship time in the Great Room. DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join the Listening for God contemplative prayer group at any time. The group gathers each second Sunday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Peter leads this prayer gathering grounded in various contemplative prayer practices. Each month a practice is introduced and then experienced. For those that wish to share\, we pause to reflect on the experience and how God is present. It is also a time when you do not need to share anything\, simply be present for this time of prayer. We gather in the prayer space in the back corner of the sanctuary and wrap up by 1:30 p.m.

A meal is available prior to rehearsal\, and bus tokens are provided. The choir has appeared at the Central Library in downtown Minneapolis\, the Mall of America as part of its Holiday Music Festival\, the annual Homeless Memorial March and Service and at various churches and mosques. In April 2016\, StreetSong MN performed at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts.
