Exploring creation\, we will turn our imaginations toward the stars and read Bible stories that call our attention to the twinkling lights in the sky. While the Earth has changed throughout history\, the skies at night have largely remained the same\, at least to our eyes. God speaks of the stars to Abraham and Job\, and the wisemen are guided to baby Jesus by the Star of Bethlehem. \nAll children ages three to twelve are invited to this year’s VBS Sundays! DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join the Listening for God contemplative prayer group at any time. The group gathers each second Sunday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Peter leads this prayer gathering grounded in various contemplative prayer practices. Each month a practice is introduced and then experienced. For those that wish to share\, we pause to reflect on the experience and how God is present. It is also a time when you do not need to share anything\, simply be present for this time of prayer. We gather in the prayer space in the back corner of the sanctuary and wrap up by 1:30 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:The Augsburg Central Health Commons\nAnyone looking for diapers\, hygiene supplies\, one-on-one nurse consultations\, or just to have a place to sit and rest are welcome. Volunteers often spend time visiting with members of the community\, distributing donations\, and setting up the space. Faculty\, students\, and volunteers also provide basic care such as blood pressure checks or basic foot care. The hope is that the moments here can allow guests to address their health needs as they deem necessary\, and the work can lead to addressing health inequities and foster healing.

DESCRIPTION:Monday’s worship service is grounded in community and followed by a community meal. Each week of the month\, worship has its own flavor\, from testimony times and healing services to confession and forgiveness and Holy Communion. Music is led by members of the worshipping community. The Pastor for Community generally leads worship\, though some weeks there is a guest preacher or one of the other pastors may preach and lead worship. This service is held in the Great Room and has 25-40 participants who gather within the Monday community ministry flow. This service is not livestreamed. \n

It is a meal served to folks at tables and we get a chance to enjoy some fellowship.
