DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to sing with the Central Choir but found it difficult to commit to a full season? The summer pop-up choir offers a flexible way to participate without an ongoing rehearsal schedule. On Sunday\, June 14\, July 26\, and August 23\, participants will gather at 9:30 a.m. to learn accessible\, well-prepared music and then share it at the 10:30 a.m. worship. This is an excellent opportunity to experience singing with the choir community without a long-term commitment. The service is guided by a contemplative sense: a slower pace\, room for silence\, and a simpler service order. The altar is on the main floor\, and much of the music is led from a piano within the gathered community. The service is generally about 45 minutes long\, with 40-50 people regularly gathering.
