When we close\, it gives our staff the opportunity to use the vacation time they so faithfully earn. It also helps our community to have clean and refreshed facilities. The summer closures are when we deep clean and paint. The Restoration Center will be closed June 29 through July 9\, reopening on July 13. We will also be closed August 3through August 6\, reopening on August 10. \n

Exploring creation\, we will turn our imaginations toward the stars and read Bible stories that call our attention to the twinkling lights in the sky. While the Earth has changed throughout history\, the skies at night have largely remained the same\, at least to our eyes. God speaks of the stars to Abraham and Job\, and the wisemen are guided to baby Jesus by the Star of Bethlehem. \nAll children ages three to twelve are invited to this year’s VBS Sundays! DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to sing with the Central Choir but found it difficult to commit to a full season? The summer pop-up choir offers a flexible way to participate without an ongoing rehearsal schedule. On Sunday\, June 14\, July 26\, and August 23\, participants will gather at 9:30 a.m. to learn accessible\, well-prepared music and then share it at the 10:30 a.m. worship. This is an excellent opportunity to experience singing with the choir community without a long-term commitment. DESCRIPTION:Starlight\, starbright – who’s behind those lights so bright? \nThis summer’s VBS theme will focus on the night skies. Exploring creation\, we will turn our imaginations toward the stars and read Bible stories that call our attention to the twinkling lights in the sky. While the Earth has changed throughout history\, the skies at night have largely remained the same\, at least to our eyes. God speaks of the stars to Abraham and Job\, and the wisemen are guided to baby Jesus by the Star of Bethlehem. \nAll children ages three to twelve are invited to this year’s VBS Sundays! So\, mark your calendars now for June 14\, July 12\, and August 16 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. \nRegister now by emailing Kari Colchin or Pastor Stephanie.

DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to sing with the Central Choir but found it difficult to commit to a full season? The summer pop-up choir offers a flexible way to participate without an ongoing rehearsal schedule. On Sunday\, June 14\, July 26\, and August 23\, participants will gather at 9:30 a.m. to learn accessible\, well-prepared music and then share it at the 10:30 a.m. worship. This is an excellent opportunity to experience singing with the choir community without a long-term commitment.
