Empowering Conversations

Another place in which adult formation is nurtured by story is through the monthly Empowering Conversations.

Empowering Conversations occurs on the third Sunday of the month, following the community meal. A guest speaker is invited to come share stories about our community and the things that we and our neighbors are facing. Generally, those gathered are invited into discussion on the topic.

At October’s Empowering Conversation, join us as we welcome the Executive Director, Granar Marak, and others from Lutheran Healthcare Bangladesh. They will open us to the work being done in rural Dumki around Lutheran Healthcare Bangladesh and the community activities that support women, children, and farmers in the region. It’s a beautiful story of establishing and maintaining homes and a partnership that’s been in place for 30 years.
