Donate Christmas Flowers

You are invited to continue the tradition of bringing beauty and cheer to our sanctuary and to our homebound members and friends by purchasing a Cuetlaxochitl (poinsettia) in honor or memory of a loved one. Purchasing a flowering plant to decorate our chancel for Christmas is a time-honored Central tradition that helps support our floral décor and Christmas plant deliveries to homebound members.

Donations for plants can be made online below or you can stop at the Welcome Desk on the weekends in December until December 16. Checks should be made payable to Central Lutheran Church and the cost is $15 per plant. Guests or new members who would like to learn more are invited to stop at the Welcome Desk and view the donor’s list from last year.

All are invited to pick up a Cuetlaxochitl on Christmas Eve.

Cuetlaxochitl (poinsettia) Order Form

The cost this year is $15 per plant. To purchase a plant in honor or memory of a loved one, complete the online form or pick up a paper form at the Welcome Desk. Payments can be made in one of two ways; by check at the Welcome Desk or by online payment through the website.

By Check: If you prefer to write a check, please make it payable to Central Lutheran Church, 333 S. 12th Street Minneapolis, MN 55404. Please write "Poinsettia" on the memo line of your check. Please indicate on the online form that you will be sending in your check.

Online: Use the "Give Today" button at the top right of the page and complete your request by typing $15 under the amount heading. Then click on the downward-facing triangle at the end of the "Fund line" and click on "Poinsettia." Click on "Continue" and complete the process with your name and payment information.
