One Community in Christ

One Community in Christ will guide our learning opportunities throughout the coming program year.  Grounded in Richard Rohr’s book The Universal Christ, adult learning will focus on the ways Jesus, both fully human and fully divine, calls us into one community where all are seen, heard, and valued.

Forums, bible study and Empowering Conversations will explore Jesus as the Christ – what that meant for his community then and what it means for us now. Pastors Melissa, Peter, and Stephanie will introduce the theme “One Community in Christ” in September. Beginning in October, Dr. Marty Stortz returns for a three-week series exploring the many ways in which we have come to know Jesus and then gently nudge us toward new and expanded paradigms of Jesus as the Christ.
