Summer Learning for All Ages

No matter what you’re age, there is an opportunity for learning and faith formation for you at Central this summer. Here’s a look at what we’ve got going on:

Vacation Bible School

Sundays, June 25, July 23, August 20, from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

This monthly learning opportunity is for children ages 3–11. This year’s program is “Operation Restoration” and it invites the children to imagine how they might be menders and tenders of God’s creation. Activities will focus on feeding, healing, forgiving, praying, and resting. The dates are Sundays, June 25, July 23, and Aug 20; class time begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. Mark your calendars now and watch for more information! All are welcome.

Middle School Youth Trip

July 16-21

The middle school kids are headed to Amnicon for five days of paddling and exploring the rivers of northern Wisconsin. More details coming soon!

High School Youth Trip

July 22-30

The high school students are headed back to Christikon, a beautiful camp nestled along the Boulder River in the Absaroka Mountain range. Details coming soon!

Adult Summer Reads Book Study

Wednesdays, July 12, 19, and 26, 6 p.m. (in person or on Zoom)

In the adult book study, we will read Otis Moss III’s book Dancing in the Darkness – a beautiful exploration of finding joy in the midst of troubling times. Moss, who refers to himself as OM3, writes with a spirit of hope and promise, affirming that life is often challenging, yet our hope and faith assure us of resurrection both in the here and now and in the life to come.
