Opportunities to Serve

Spring is a time of new growth and opportunity! There are many ways you can grow and serve at Central. Here are a few groups in search of more volunteers to join in connecting, creating, and serving:

Garden Team:

Central’s Garden Ministry Team is gearing up for its next season of beautifying the grounds of the church for the spring, summer, and fall seasons. We will be meeting at church on April 11 at 6:30 p.m. for our Spring planning session. We would like to invite anyone who is interested in joining us to attend the meeting. Contact Paul Troselius if interested.

Ushers:

You are invited to serve on one of the usher teams for worship on Saturday night at 5 p.m., or Sunday for either the 8:30 or 10:30 a.m. worship. The teams serve for a month, with flexibility. Contact Pastor Peter if you are interested or have questions.

Special Events Hosts:

This team provides hospitality when Central Lutheran hosts special events. The events vary:  musical events (Augsburg Vespers), funerals, Luther Seminary commencement, lectures/assemblies. We greet guests, provide directions, and provide a warm welcome to Central Lutheran. In May, Central Lutheran will be the site of Festival of Homiletics, Luther Seminary Commencement, and Open Doors Twin Cities. Contact Judith Hedman if interested.
