Wednesday Zoom Bible Study and Daily Prayer with Communion Opportunities

All are invited to join the summer Zoom Bible study on the Psalms. Pastor Stephanie is teaching and coordinating this study. Pastor Melissa, Deacon Mark and I will each lead one of the sessions. Please know that you can join all six of the studies, or jump in and out as it works for you. The materials for the sessions can be downloaded here.

If you are new to Zoom, it is an online meeting platform. If this is your first time on a Zoom meeting, we invite you to join the Bible study by 5:45 p.m. to work out all the technology details.

The Zoom Psalm Bible study begins tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17, at 6:00 p.m. Here is the information and Zoom link for you for Wednesday night. Be sure to save this email so you have the link for the future Zoom Psalm studies.

The second invitation is for Daily Prayer with Holy Communion. With the restrictions easing for small gatherings, the Pastors will offer three options for Daily Prayer with Holy Communion. There will be an offering on Monday at 12:30 p.m., another on Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. and a third on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. An online sign up will be required to ensure that we are at the limit for attendance.

Here is the link for the Sign Up Genius for the next few weeks. The limit at this point is for 25 people.

As we slowly reopen the Central facility, there are some key points for you to note.

  • Stay at home if you are ill.
  • As we reopen and you come to Central, masks will be required to enter, in the hallways, restrooms and in the sanctuary.
  • All who enter will be required to have their temperature taken.
  • All who enter will be required to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer.
  • All who enter will be required to enter their information in the log book at the reception desk
  • We can all stay safe and healthy.

The log book sign in sheet is only if we need to follow up because we learn someone has been diagnosed with Covid-19. The information is held confidential and the sheets are shredded after 21 days.

I hope you will consider joining in on these added water stops. It will be great to gather for Bible study, even if online through Zoom. It will also be great to gather in a small group in the sanctuary for Holy Communion.
