Take the survey May 29-June 16
We are excited to invite you to participate in a church assessment process. This assessment process is led, as it was in 2017, by our consultants, Kairos and Associates. Their assessment instrument proved to be helpful then and will be a key part of our discernment for the future. It is an instrument designed to provide for us a clear picture of how our faith community experiences our mission, the effectiveness of our ministry initiatives and our capacities in moving forward in new and renewed ways. The tool, called the Missional Assessment Profile (MAP), will provide key indicators of our congregational health along with areas of challenge and potential growth. It will help us to collect and understand the range of views that exist for our congregation and the possibilities, willingness, capacity and excitement for moving ministry into the future. The results will help our leadership determine objectives and direction for next year’s ministry and beyond. In addition, we will be able to compare the MAP results from 2017 with these results for an added layer of insight and understanding.
We ask every confirmed member of our congregation to participate in the MAP survey. Answering the questions will take about 15-20 minutes. It is important to know that all survey responses will be anonymous. The survey will be open for response from Wednesday, May 29 – Sunday, June 16. (It is important to note that once you launch the survey link you will need to complete it in one sitting. There is no option to save your survey after you have started). The results will be presented to the congregation council and church leadership shortly after the survey is closed.
We hope that participating in the assessment will get you thinking about where God is calling Central Lutheran into the future—and help you recognize and celebrate the good things going on in our church right now. Thank you for your willingness to be a part of this online assessment and for helping to strengthen our future as a congregation.
