Volunteer Ministry Opportunities

As spring approaches, consider serving as a parking “meeter” on Sunday mornings. This ministry provides a warm welcome presence in Central’s parking lot as members and guests arrive for worship or special events.
Funeral receptions provide families a way to be together with friends following a funeral or memorial service. If you have gifts of caring and compassion, and are available during the day or Saturdays to help prepare and serve a meal, consider this ministry
Church Office receptionist volunteers provide visitors with needed information and a friendly smile. Your help is needed during the week, Sunday mornings and sometimes for special events.
Celebrate Your Birthday Sunday has been an opportunity over the last three years for Central members and guests to bring homemade or store-bought treats and host coffee hour on the second Sunday of each month. If you are interested in working on a team that will explore a Celebrate Your Birthday Sunday return in 2010, have ideas on how to improve it, and the possibility of developing a cookbook from the submitted recipes, we’d love to hear from you.
