Youness helps with the caulking.

“I had a good day!” That was the sentiment expressed at the end of the day by one member of the team from Central who answered the call to help build a house through Habitat for Humanity in September. Central members were invited to join other downtown congregations to put our FAITH into ACTION and they stepped up to the plate. During the week of September 10-14, rain or shine, under the skillful supervision of Eric Weatherman, we gathered on the north side at Heritage Park to paint, caulk, and lay tile at two houses that would soon be home for two well-deserved families.
Heartfelt thanks go to the 25 Central members and friends who worked on the project and to those who provided home-cooked meals and home-baked cookies to our group. (No kidding!) Everyone had a good day and a good week with each other and with new friends.
