Central Lutheran Youth Ministry for: Junior & Senior High students

The mission of Central Youth Ministry is to teach youth about the free gift of grace given by God.

Youth face many challenges in the modern world and popular culture introduces confusing topics.
Therefore, Central Youth Ministry is available to offer a supportive, loving, grace-filled environment to
help foster confidence in faith and equip our youth to practice grace in their everyday lives.


There are great opportunities for service, fellowship, learning & worship.

SERVICE:
  • On-Site projects: Community Ministry, Restoration Center, Coffee Servers, Processional Corps, Communion Helpers.

FELLOWSHIP:
  • Global Fare= ethnic evening celebrating diversity. Crafts, food and Taiko Japanese Drummers
  • Pizza & Movie Night= join us for pizza, pop, and a movie in the youth room.
  • Winter Fun Family Retreat= skiing, tubing, snowboarding at Trollhaugen
LEARNING:
  • Confirmation- Sunday morning 9:45am-10:45am: Grade 6th -8th www.herewestandconfirmation.org
  • Sr. High Sunday School- Sunday mornings 9:45am-10:45am in the Youth room.
  • "FREE" Bible Study- Wednesday Nights 6-7:30pm in the Youth room. Sr. High (summer break May-August)
  • Celebration of Confirmation- Minneapolis Synod Event
  • SIMUL in the City: H.S. Youth Gathering Summer 2010
